Meet Eddy
by Rahul on Jan.25, 2010, under Cycling
I may never get the chance to meet Lance Armstrong but I did experience the same rush of excitement and feelings when I met, Eddy, from New Zealand. One fine day Eddy decided to tour the whole world on a c-y-c-l-e and started off, just like that, to get a whole new perspective on life. After covering about 5000km in a period of 4 months, he entered India. I was at the bike shop getting my cycle serviced when Krish told me that Eddy might drop by to get his cycle serviced.
And he did.
With his 70kg custom made cycle.
And a pack of Tiger biscuits.
Not to mention his DSLR to snap beautiful photos along the way.
That reminds me, I must watch ‘The Motorcycle Diaries’. Be on the lookout for launch of www.eddyventures.com

Trinity says “Hello World!”
by Rahul on Nov.14, 2009, under Cycling
Three months of excessive research and drooling on various cycles in the market, my web history now shows more searches on cycles than programming specific doubts.
After Rs. 50, 000/- and a sleepless night later came,
Trinity.
My first proper MTB.
A beauty from every fucking angle possible.
Lighter than the 12.5kg dumbbell in the gym…
Paint job sexier than the FTV super model’s makeup…
Suspension softer than a Kurlon mattress…
Gear shifting crispier than a Lays chip…
Hydraulic disc brakes to make her stop where and when you wish to…
And the list goes on and on, and on, AND ON…
Check out the photos below!
Thanks a million to Praveen for putting up with me and my crazy ideas till the very last day, and Krish of the-bike-affair for setting me up with my Trinity.
