Finally I get some time to sketch this idea that sparked up in a conversation with Naveen.

Oh you have already seen a version of this somewhere before? DILLIGAF?

Deli 9 – A Review

by Rahul on Aug.05, 2009, under Food, Fun, Passing Time

Another place Kirthi and I decided to add to our list of reviews. I am not sure about the current status of this chain, but 2 years ago it had a very good range of pastries and other desserts. The service was not that great and neither was the ambience. Maybe that was the case with the Lifestyle branch. Mouth watering and filling food they served. Following photos should convince you! And yes, the prices were reasonable :)

Je m’appelle…

by Rahul on Aug.04, 2009, under Fun, Life, Passing Time

One of the most popular ads when I was a kid.

Grandfather: Well according to the పంచాంగము (Panchaangamu), his name should start with

కూ (koo)

ఖం (kham)

ఙ్ (~m)

చ్ఛా (chChaa)

Mother: WTF? What sensible names start with any of those letters?

Grandfather: How about Balaji? We can name him after Lord Venkateshwara!

Mother: Yeah right, so not the routine!

Father: Umm, you see…

Mother: YES?

Father: It is a tradition in my family to name the first child after my father.

Mother: So you suggest I name our child – Ramulu? Does he look like a shepherd to you?

Father: No, I did not mean it that way…

Mother: Fine, I will go with the first two letters from your father’s name – RA.

RA-HUL.

Yes, I am going to call him Rahul.

Since then, wherever Rahul went he found at least 2 more Rahuls around him probably thinking the same.
